Industrial Painter
Southern Ohio steel fabrication company is currently accepting resumes for Industrial Painter for our Steel Fabrication shop.
Job Overview: We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will use their skills to paint Custom Steel Fabrication in a Shop environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning and priming.
Apply paints, coatings, and spray equipment.
Mix and match paint colors according to specifications.
Inspect completed work for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial painting or a related field.
Proficient in painting techniques and materials, including epoxy and polyurethane coatings.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Ability to operate overhead cranes and fork lifts.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
Proficiency in using spray guns, including adjusting air pressure and fluid flow.
Knowledge of applying multiple coats and understanding drying times for optimal results.
