Male companion aide needed -
Must love dogs and enjoy being of aid to the disabled -¨Are you good at motivating people? Do you enjoy sports, museums, getting outside on walks and being a part of the great community of Shepherdstown? We are looking to hire a male companion aide for part time work to give aid to an engaging young man in his home who needs your help with encouraging him to be active. You would help also w guidance in maturing and promoting proper social behavior; assisting him physically if its needed. He has strong communication skills, some physical disabilities however he does have mobility via a walker with strong motor skills on right arm, and some behavioral issues. You would be spending time in his home, be his driver (vehicle provided), be a positive role model in his life. An aide's focus will be in being a life coach to help him make good choices. While he doesn't have a dog of his own, he loves dogs and if you have a dog you can bring him along to work on occasion (well-behaved dogs only of course). Fingerprint and background check part of hiring process. Training provided. Part time job located in city limits.
