We are a busy family in Charles Town, WV looking to hire someone for a weekly visit (a few hours) to help with a mix of meal prep and light household tasks. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys cooking, is reliable, and likes working in a family-friendly environment.
What we’re looking for:
1. Meal Preparation & Cooking
Prepare several meals/snacks for a family of 2 adults + 2 young children
We cover all grocery costs
Ability to follow simple recipes or bring your own suggestions (Latin American cooking is welcome)
2. Light Housekeeping
General picking up
Light cleaning in common areas
Helping the house feel tidy and reset for the week
Bonus Skills (not required):
Comfortable interacting with young children
English+Spanish fluency is a plus but not required
Schedule:
Once per week, a single visit (day/time flexible)
Typically 2-4 few hours per session
Compensation:
Hourly rate based on experience (negotiable)
All groceries and food costs fully covered. Cleaning supplies provided.
