Design and develop innovative product designs, keeping in mind the budget, material and/or spares availability.Optimize or modify existing product designsProviding installation support for the technical team on site and compile installation documentation where necessaryProvide support to the team conducting factory and site acceptance tests where necessarySupporting the Procurement department for specifications, technical buying or sourcing for new equipmentEvaluate overall performance, reliability and safety of the finished products /equipmentRegularly reporting to the senior mechanical design engineers on the status of each projectTroubleshoot design/performance problems that may arise and find solutions to resolve themResearch and stay current with the ever-evolving trends and technologies in the field of mechanical design.
