The Adventure Company, a premier rafting outfitter in Colorado, is seeking to hire a few experienced guides. Focused on providing top quality trips, we offer unique features. Recognizing that an experienced guide is critical to safety and customer service, we only hire guides with at least 2 seasons of full time raft guiding experience. Once hired, we train to familiarize each employee with the raft trips that we offer on 4 rivers in the central Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and our policies. Founded in 1987 in Breckenridge, we have customized our offerings to meet the needs of this world class resort. Learn from the best as we offer beginner whitewater all the way up to TRUE Class V expert whitewater.
Job Requirements:
Must have at least two full seasons of verified professional raft guide experience
Must have current First Aid and CPR or higher medical certification

You are a fun loving, enthusiastic, good worker. Able to thrive as part of a team or independently, you enjoy the camaraderie of working and playing with our tight knit crew. You recognize that customer service is important and are polite, considerate, and accommodating. We are looking for individuals who enjoy the outdoors, and are trustworthy, reliable, and safe. We also emphasize good judgment for successful decision making.
Season:
This winter's outstanding snowfall should provide abundant whitewater and a long season. We operate from May 1st through Labor Day. However, we have starting dates as late as the end of June with all guides required to finish no sooner than August 15th and as late as Labor Day.

Where:
The vast majority of our river trips are on the Arkansas River in Buena Vista. Our ideally located 6 acre riverside facility includes a guest lodge, employee campground, organized boathouse, office/ outfitter store, and cafe.
