Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Facility in Terra Alta, WV . This is a registry position with our company.Pay Rate: $34 / hourW2Shifts Available:
Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including weekend shifts, able to work 12 hour shifts
Minimum Qualifications:
At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
Must have up to date credentials in the state of WV
A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association)
Ability to build rapport with patients
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Familiarity with medical terminology
Must have CPR and First Aid certification from either the American Heart Association or the client.
Job Responsibilities:
Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Provide companionship and basic care to patients
Administer prescribed medications to patients
