Mountain Supply & Service has an immediate opening for a Service Technician at our Wheeling, WV facility.
Direct Supervisor: Operations Manager
Job Summary: Serves customers by evaluating and understanding their individual needs and formulating a plan to ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves existing accounts by analyzing customer needs; planning daily travel schedule and communicates with management, support staff, and salespeople; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems
Establishes service by studying customer requirements; ordering and gathering fluids and parts; completing and performing acceptance tests
Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions and suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements
Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
Documents service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications
Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed
All other job duties and responsibilities as determined by management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
Oilfield industry knowledge, troubleshooting issues and equipment maintenance a plus.
Able to pass all company required physical and drug testing examinations
Able to interpret and follow directions from a road atlas and GPS
Work Environment:
Outside and exposed to the elements 80% of the time
Very dirty and dusty environment
Long drive times with potential for standby time
