POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading all day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, accurate, and timely receipt, storage, and distribution of products. This role oversees labor, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and company standards. The manager partners cross-functionally to support customer service levels, cost control, and operational scalability.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Operational LeadershipDirect and manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle countingEnsure fulfillment accuracy, order timeliness, and productivity targets are consistently met or exceededEstablish and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and reduce errorsPlan labor and workflow based on volume forecasts and operational needsInventory & Quality ControlOversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, root-cause analysis, and corrective actionsEnsure proper handling and storage of all products, including fragile, high-value, or regulated itemsMonitor shrink, damages, and discrepancies and implement prevention strategiesPartner with Inventory and Planning teams to maintain optimal stock levelsPeople Management & DevelopmentLead, train, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and associatesSet clear performance expectations supported by measurable KPIsConduct performance reviews and support succession planningFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementSafety & ComplianceEnforce all OSHA, company safety programs, and regulatory requirementsPromote a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment (5S principles)Continuous Improvement & Cost ControlIdentify process improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologiesReduce labor and materials costs while maintaining service levelsSupport warehouse layout optimization, slotting, and automation initiativesLeverage WMS and reporting tools to drive data-based decisionsTechnology & SystemsEnsure effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related toolsPartner with IT and Operations leadership on system upgrades, integrations, and automation projectsAnalyze operational reports and trends to improve performance
