WW Flooring Group is seeking a Production Color Specialist to work in their state-of-the-art Finishing line. In this position you will be working with high quality wood flooring using expertise in various finishes and techniques to create a high-quality finished product. This job is in Syracuse, NY

Requirements of the Production Color Specialist:
Experience in color matching required- to perform in this position you need to have an “eye” for color
Expertise in various wood finishing techniques
Strong understanding of coating materials
Ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation
Detail oriented, self-motivated and results driven
Experience in the Cabinet or Flooring Industry
Shift hours: 6am – 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities of the Production Color Specialist:
Report to Director of Manufacturing
Develop color working hand in hand with chemical supplier and production team
Monitor operations to ensure quality standards are upheld in all aspects of the finishing process
Select and apply appropriate coatings (e.g., Stains, sealers, etc.) based on product requirements
Identify and resolve coating defects
