We take great pride in the many ways in which we enhance Quality of Life on our campus.”As the Food Operations Manager , you will have prior high-volume university dining experience or similar, a proven track record with managing a large staff (including other salaried food managers) and implementing a variety of dining programs, experience with food and physical safety programs and excellent project management skills.We are looking for an innovative leader who is comfortable with technology advances and learning new retail programs.This leader will also be responsible for fostering and maintaining an exceptional relationship with the client and will develop a frontline, union staff.The successful candidate will:

assist the GM with oversight of all food service day-to-day operations;

successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff;

achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

help develop strategic plans;

work hands-on with the team to ensure safety and sanitation (HACCP) compliance; developing and mentoring; engaging and fostering culture;

have daily interaction with patients, their families and the clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction;

create a positive environment;

The ideal candidate will have:

food service management experience in a contract-services, healthcare, campus dining, or high-volume hospitality environment;

strong leadership skills and proven ability to foster culture, retain employees, and develop frontline staff;

culinary and/or food service experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;

proven ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrated professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and self-motivated;

a results-driven mindset that enjoys working hands-on to support the team;

proven ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
