This is a Direct Hire role that will require a hybrid work schedule. The Technical Presales Engineer serves a vital role in our client’s sales process. This individual will work as a link between technical experts and customers, understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions, and demonstrating how products or services meet these needs. In addition, this role will collaborate closely with sales teams to aid revenue growth and foster robust customer relationships.Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop deep understanding of our products or services and keep abreast of industry trends and technology.
Engage with prospective clients to assess their technical requirements and business challenges.
Create and present convincing technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals that exhibit the worth of our offerings.
Collaborate with product development team to customize solutions to cater to specific customer needs.
Provide pre-sales technical support, answer customer inquiries, and address product functionality and compatibility concerns.
Train sales teams about the technical aspects of our products or services.
Work with customers to design and execute Proof of Concept (PoC) to validate proposed solutions.
Prepare and maintain technical documents such as proposals, case studies, and technical specifications.
Remain informed about competitors' offerings and market trends to effectively position our products or services.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience.
Proven record in a technical role, such as software engineering, system administration, or technical support.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for translating complex technical concepts into clear, customer-friendly language.
Superb communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
Customer-focused attitude with the skill to establish and retain strong customer relationships.
Knowledge of sales processes and the ability to cooperate effectively with sales teams.
Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings or demonstrations.
Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software.
Relevant certifications (product-specific, for instance) are desirable.
