Job Title: Metal Building Erectors (PEMB & Pole Barns)
Location: Green Bay, WI area (jobs within 50 miles - must have own transportation to and from the sites)
Pay: $30 – $34 per hour (based on experience — higher pay possible for exceptional skills)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: 6 months, with potential for continued work on nearby projects
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Metal Building Erectors for a 6-month project in the Green Bay, WI area. This position involves the erection of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) and Pole Barn structures, including framing, bolted connections, and the installation of metal siding and roofing systems. We’re looking for dependable, safety-focused tradespeople with strong experience in PEMB or Pole Barn construction who are available to work full-time and take pride in quality craftsmanship. Additional work may be available after project completion for those willing to travel to other job sites within a 50-mile radius of Green Bay, WI.
Job Duties
Erect structural steel, PEMB, and Pole Barn framing systems
Assemble, align, and bolt steel and wood connections
Install metal siding, roof panels, and wall sheeting
Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Work collaboratively with crew members to meet project deadlines
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in PEMB erection or Pole Barn construction
Skilled in bolting, framing, sheeting, and roof panel installation
Comfortable working at heights using lifts, scaffolding, or ladders
Must have basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, high-vis vest, gloves, work boots)
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites within 50 miles of Green Bay
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to start at 6:00 AM
