ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assembler will assemble and package materials to specification in a manufacturing and prefabrication facility. There are no current Assembler positions open but please submit an application for future consideration
Read blueprints and schematics or receive work direction from a Lead Assembler.
Gather and layout materials necessary for the assembly.
Wire VFD’s, motor starters, and control panels.
Complete panelboards, starters, overhead racks, and threaded rod assemblies.
Verify accuracy of work through quality control procedures.
Maintain safe and clean work environment.
Notify supervisor of low inventory or faulty equipment in need of repair.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred but not required.
Mechanical and technical aptitude to learn assembly processes and the tools and equipment used.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow additional verbal and written instructions.
Ability to follow safety and quality guidelines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job operates in a manufacturing environment and is exposed to weather conditions.
Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) per facility requirements, including but not limited to, hard toe work boots, safety glasses, gloves and, high visibility vest.
This role occasionally uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.
Employees are frequently required to sit, stand, and occasionally required to bend, kneel, reach, stoop, or crouch.
This position may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
