The Payroll Administrator II is responsible for accurate company and project payroll duties in accordance with company, project, state, federal and local policies and regulations. This is a remote-telework position; US citizenship is required.Essential Responsibilities:

Data entry of weekly time and attendance sheets.

Process bi-weekly payroll.

Reconcile payroll gross to net.

Responsible for reporting and payments to unions.

Responsible for compliance of Service Contract Act (SCA) reporting.

Analyze and interpret company policies and procedures and federal and state regulations affecting payroll operations.

Conduct audits of timesheets and identify and implement corrective action.

Verify the proper distribution of charges to specific accounts.

Communicate with field personnel for related payroll issues.

Apply learned knowledge of practices and procedures to deal with issues or problems that require further definition before resolution.

Prepare and create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and reconcile all payroll related general ledger accounts.

Review to ensure accurate computation of pay and interpret company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.

Apply knowledge of payroll practices to perform various audits for different state agencies and/ or in house auditors.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:High school diploma and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent. ADP (Enterprise version 3 a plus) experience required. Strong written and oral communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment a must. Familiar with ADP HRMS/PR.Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
