Job Description/Primary Duties:
Do you love pastries, great bread and coffee? Do you love chatting it up with great customers and making people’s day? Do people call you a hard worker, a team player, and super self motivated?
We are looking for a few great people to add to our awesome team. This position is three shifts/week for part time or five shifts/week for full time, with the shifts being 6-8 hours each day, noting we are closed Mondays. We require a commitment of at least 9 months. Candidates must be able to work at least one Saturday or Sunday shift on a weekly basis to contribute their skills to Bloom’s busiest days of week! Candidates also must be available to work leading up to Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We are closed November 27-30 and December 25-January 2.
Additional hours may be available during summer, winter, and spring break, if desired.
Essential Responsibilities:
Greets all customers warmly
Answers customer questions in person, over the phone, or via text
Makes strong connections with customers to ensure they have a positive experience
Packages bakery items and works efficiently to help customers
Crafts coffee drinks
Keeps bakery case, deli, cooler, and retail space well stocked and organized
Ensures cleanliness and organization of front of house and contributes time in the dish pit
Any other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Customer service experience is preferred, but we will train the right applicant!
Legally able to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements:
Regular and predictable attendance
Ability to stand on feet for entirety of shift
Ability to lift 50 pounds
