Stoughton Health has a weekend Food Prep Assistant position available. This position is primarily responsible for patient meal tray delivery and dish room duties. Learn to portion cold menu items for patient meals and assemble meal trays for patients. Restocks supplies in kitchen and cafe, cash register and kitchen/cafe cleaning duties. Performs Diet Clerk duties visiting patients to obtain their meal orders. Will also learn all aspects of the kitchen once completely trained on other duties, including working in cafe, learning to cook patient meals and even catering hospital events. The Food Prep Assistant will be asked to Cross train on various shifts in order to help support departmental need.
Prefer related experience and high school graduate or equivalent.
Full Time 40 hour per week - Monday - Friday 8 am to 4 pm. Weekend when needed. Holidays when needed.
