My wife, who has Parkinson’s, is in need of part-time personal care which includes simple help related to dressing and transferring into and out of wheelchair and retrieving prepared food and drink. We live approx. halfway between Middleton and Cross Plains. I travel to art shows every 2 to 3 weeks and need a reliable individual to come over usually around 9am on Fridays (occasionally on Thursday and Friday) and stay till around 3pm. Schedule varies from 3 to 6 hours. It is sporadic but is known weeks and months in advance - i.e. 1st need is April 27th from approx. 12 to 4pm. $30/hour cash. Duties may include transfer from bed to wheelchair then to toilet then to living room chair. No real heavy lifting, mainly spotting and helping with balance and turning. Paid training provided. No experience necessary, just be reliable. Our son comes after work and spends the night and is here on Saturdays and Sundays (I usually return Sunday evening). He works close by and is available in emergencies. Great opportunity to supplement income. Safe and pleasant environment. Must have own transportation.
