Trimmers are responsible for installing things like baseboards, hanging doors, installing window and door casings, railing and stair work, and other final details. They must be deliberate and precise in their work as it is – quite literally – the finishing touch.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other layouts.
Measure, cut, and install various fixtures and woodwork for doors, windows, staircases, etc.
Ensure a snug fit and smooth transition in joints; trim and sand surfaces as needed.
Wire and wood shelving installation.
Hardware installation – i.e., hinges, handles, door stops, drawer pulls, etc.
Verify quality and quantity of materials – order as needed.
Verify work completed to ensure quality end product.
Other finish carpentry tasks
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Requires ability to use basic and intermediate hand and power tools/equipment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team or individually.
Effective time management.
Critical thinking/problem solving.
Must have reliable transportation to and from job site(s), including the ability to transport tools/equipment.
Requires physicality (physical stamina); Safely lift/carry 50lbs or more frequently; Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time; bend, crouch, twist, kneel, reach, etc.
Basic math skills
Exceptional written and oral communication (English)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
EXPERIENCE
General construction knowledge
Rough Carpentry – preferred
Finish Carpentry – 2+ years.
SHIFT DETAILS
Monday – Fridays (no weekends)
8-hour shifts
