Fanuc/Siemens PLC experience is a plus, but not neededJob Duties:
The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of skilled maintenance work to maintain, troubleshoot and repair production machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and perform maintenance on building and grounds as needed
This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and in cooperation with the Maintenance Department Lead
Hours are Monday-Friday, day shift
Troubleshoot machines and equipment that have mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and control parts
Perform maintenance and repair work to minimize production downtime
Perform preventative maintenance, system checks and equipment inspections as scheduled
Maintain necessary inventories of parts used to ensure minimal downtime of equipment
Assist with moving and installing equipment
Disconnect and reconnect service to machines
Manufacture or procure repaired/ replacement equipment and parts
Operate manual machine shop equipment /tools and/or welding equipment for maintenance repairs
Become familiar with all applicable safety programs and follow prescribed procedures
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to vibration
