Engineer - Current Product. Join our team as a Senior Electrical Design
Engineer within Current Product Engineering at Harley-Davidson Motor
Company. This role is instrumental in leading the delivery of projects
that align to deliver Cost Productivity. In this role, you will be part
of a cross-functional team working with Sourcing & Supplier Management,
Test Labs, and Manufacturing focused on delivering Cost Productivity
Projects across the entire vehicle portfolio. The Senior design engineer
will use engineering tools such as CAD models and drawings, as well as
predictive analysis and conventional engineering tools and calculations,
to demonstrate and communicate robustness of designs. The engineer will
develop and track work through detailed project plans, lead presentation
of design options through a formalized design review process, perform
DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, analyze test results and bring closure to test findings,
and deliver new designs and product changes to production. Hybrid
Location Position will be hybrid with time split between a home office
and on-site at our Harley-Davidson Motor Company Product Development
Center (PDC) located in Wauwatosa, WI. Job Responsibilities: Deliver
robust, optimized designs for vehicle functions and systems while
adhering to project targets, performance objectives, high quality, and
cost reduction targets. Partner with a cross-functional team and
suppliers to meet program and build milestones. Identify risks and
propose mitigations. Verify component & system performance to H-D
standards, approve supplier validation, and work with test and
verification entities to ensure EE system meets or exceeds targets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Full job title: Splunk Engineering and Operations,
Director Lead a Splunk engineering team through development and
operational lifecycle including defining long term strategy, building
and automating future enhancements, providing daily operational support,
and performing capacity and vulnerability management. Effectively
prioritize tickets and timely resolution of issues. Manage
communications of outages, service impacts, and all Splunk
infrastructure-related events. Proactively monitor the Splunk
infrastructure and follow an iterative, continuous improvement model to
ensure system health. Ensure proactive measures are applied and issues
are raised to the engineering team for resolution. Perform after-action
reports and root-cause analysis reviews with the architecture and
engineering team. Perform routine software upgrades and minor releases
within Compliance and Application Lifecycle. Adhere to the change
control process and ensure that all work is documented. Regularly audit
the authentication and authorization systems. Build a Splunk Hygiene
Program that focuses on optimal searches, logging standards, and
configuration. Work with key stakeholders to intake requirements and
continuous improvement. Respond to Audit and Compliance requests.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 9 years in any job title
involving managing IT infrastructures for medium to large organizations.
Prior experience must include: 8 years of Linux administration; 7 years
administering Splunk as an enterprise service; 5 years working with
Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell or JavaScript; 5 years troubleshooting
environments across an entire architecture; 2 years implementing Regular
Expressions; 2 years leading a Splunk Engineering team of 5 or more
engineers; Performing full stack troubleshooting; Cloud computing and
technology support; Working with Ansible or OpenText Operations
Orchestration; Continuous integration and continuous deployment; and
Working with large-scale Splunk implementation with greater than 50
terabyte daily ingestion. Up to 10% national travel required.
