Provide on-site consulting, guidance and assistance to physicians and OR personnel by evaluating options and problem-solving during surgery in order to maximize IGS (Image Guided Surgery) product efficiency and usageAnalyze, resolve and repair product issues through detailed analysis and utilization of engineering expertiseDirect and assist Radiology staff in performing necessary scans prior to surgeryEducate/train physicians and hospital personnel, including OR staff, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical and Information Technologies staff, on the use of IGS products and servicesDevelop and conduct training programs for hospital staff enabling them to implement in-house trainingAct as primary customer liaison, maintaining contact with customer, assessing satisfaction and usage levels, and working to increase revenue via the sale of spare parts, upgrades, etc.Work closely with the Senior Application Consultant, Area Account Manager, Key Account Manager and Marketing Manager on market transparency, upgrade initiatives and R&D projectsUtilize engineering expertise to contribute to the quality improvement process by recommending product modificationsAttend meetings and trade shows to demonstrate and promote IGS products and servicesKeep abreast of developments regarding Brainlab and competitive IGS products and services via ongoing training and individual research and analysisPerform other duties and responsibilities as required

This role is instrumental in leading the delivery of projects that align to deliver Cost Productivity. In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team working with Sourcing & Supplier Management, Test Labs, and Manufacturing focused on delivering Cost Productivity Projects across the entire vehicle portfolio. The Senior design engineer will use engineering tools such as CAD models and drawings, as well as predictive analysis and conventional engineering tools and calculations, to demonstrate and communicate robustness of designs. The engineer will develop and track work through detailed project plans, lead presentation of design options through a formalized design review process, perform DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, analyze test results and bring closure to test findings, and deliver new designs and product changes to production. Prior experience must include: 8 years of Linux administration; 7 years administering Splunk as an enterprise service; 5 years working with Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell or JavaScript; 5 years troubleshooting environments across an entire architecture; 2 years implementing Regular Expressions; 2 years leading a Splunk Engineering team of 5 or more engineers; Performing full stack troubleshooting; Cloud computing and technology support; Working with Ansible or OpenText Operations Orchestration; Continuous integration and continuous deployment; and Working with large-scale Splunk implementation with greater than 50 terabyte daily ingestion.
