Position Description

The Data and Compliance Coordinator assists the Director of Data and Compliance in managing data utilization and ensuring adherence to local, state, federal and accreditation reporting requirements. The role involves compiling, cleaning, analyzing and presenting data on student counts, testing, and other variables. Additionally, the Data and Compliance Coordinator will organize and maintain a calendar of compliance items for reports on the school, staff, and students. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and eager to quickly learn new systems. This role will be critical to the upcoming expansion of Aug Prep to a second campus, supporting increased enrollment and staff, and facilitating various areas of growth within the department.

Job Responsibilities and Roles

Maintain a calendar of compliance deadlines and ensure the responsible parties meet the deadlines

Support the preparation and submission of reports to local, state, federal, accrediting bodies, and other key stakeholders

Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making and reporting

Become an expert in student information system and serve as a go-to person for the use of the student information system

Facilitate the management and distribution of data across various departments and schools

Qualifications

A deep belief in our mission to provide an exceptional, safe and holistic K4-12 Christian education developing our students to be tomorrow’s leaders

College degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent required; experience in data management preferred

Belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to ensure excellence for each student

Participating member in a local Church

Comfort with technology, including experience with spreadsheet functionalities

Familiarity with the Google Workspace (navigating Drive, Gmail, Sheets etc.)

Ability to learn data management software, prior experience with Oracle is highly beneficial

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ability to take ownership for the proper use and sharing of information

Effective organizational skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

A desire to continually learn, as well as a flexible attitude to grow and change as the organization does

Strong attention to detail
