We are seeking a reliable and efficient Line Cook/Prep-cooks to join our team at Dandan Restaurant in the 3rd Ward. The ideal candidate will be able to work quickly and effectively to ensure that dishes are executed in a timely manner to keep up with the demands of a busy restaurant. During prep periods, follow set guidelines to finish tasks correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate an flat-top, sauté, or fryer station.
- Ensure that all items are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards
- Keep kitchen area clean and organized
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and other tasks as needed
- Follow proper sanitation procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Positive Attitude
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
