Activities Assistant
Schedule: part time, hours/days may vary
Our assisted living is seeking a part time activities assistant! Do you like to work with the elderly? Are you creative and like to do fun activities? If so, join our team! Our assisted living is a 41 bed community, our residents range from independent to total care and love to do fun things! In the past we have went to the zoo, went fishing, colored easter eggs, oreo stacking contests, etc.
Duties:
Engage with the residents and motivate them do participate in life enrichment activities
Spend one on one time with residents who may not like to do group activities
Assist with making activity calendar, if needed
Ensure the activity room is clean
Have a fun, positive attitude!
This position is part time and will report and work with the activities director. Schedule can be determined based on your needs and the facilities needs. CBRF Standard precautions certification will be needed by first day of work (facility can provide this training) and CBRF Fire Safety will be needed within 90 days (facility cannot provide this training, but can provide resources where this can be done)
No experience needed, we will train the right candidate!
