Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing the essential job duties required for customer order processing and preparation in the warehouse.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required. Experience with the following computer applications is valuable:

Microsoft/Windows based-Word; Excel; UPS World Ship or similar shipping experience; USPS shipping applications; Prophet 21; FedEx shipping; Engineering Manual is online, so familiarity with internet navigation is needed; communication with internal customers via email/instant messaging is used. Education/Experience

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one or two years’ related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees of the organization.

Mathematical Ability

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
