On-site Staffing Services is looking for Mason/Concrete Laborers
With over 30 years of experience, our client is recognized as the industry leader in the commercial concrete/masonry business in Southeastern Wisconsin. They are a member of an affiliated group of successful construction-related companies. Their clients continuously depend on us to build concrete/masonry superstructures due to our reputation for quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Job Description for Masonry:
Come work with one of our clients as a masonry on various projects to lay building materials, including block, brick, and stone, for commercial building projects. The mason works to ensure all work is accurate to specifications and exceeds quality expectations of the General Contractor. To be successful, the mason must have a strong work ethic and be very quality minded.
Minimum Skills Required:
· 2-3 years' experience as a mason
· Strong math skills
· Willingness to learn and follow instructions
· Must be able to use all hand tools of the trade safely & proficiently
· Ability to perform high quality work at a fast pace
· Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive work
· Must be willing and able to work long hours & weekends
· Must be safety always oriented
· Strong work ethic (dependable, excellent attendance, trustworthy)
· Ability to work well with others
· Must have a reliable means of transportation and transportation to and from work cannot be an issue
Shift:
· 7:00am Start time also varies per project
· Out time depends on workload.
· Lot of Overtime!
· 1st Shift 7:00am
Pay:
· $25 - $40/hr. depending on experiences
Job Description for Concrete Laborer:
The Concrete Laborer supports the finishers by assisting in hand troweling, mixing concrete, puddling/placing concrete, getting materials and supplies, and performs other duties as directed by their foreman. To be successful, laborers must have a strong work ethic and be very quality minded.
Minimum Skills Required:
· 1-2 years experiences with residential/commercial concrete (but willing to train the right candidate)
· Willingness to learn and follow instructions
· Must be able to use all hand tools of the trade safely & proficiently
· Be able to do high quality work at a fast pace
· Must be willing and able to work long hours & weekends
· Must be safety always oriented
· Strong work ethic (dependable, excellent attendance, trustworthy)
· Ability to work well with others
· Must have reliable means of transportation and transportation to and from work cannot be an issue
· Ability to operate some motorized equipment is a plus, but will train
· Good carpentry skills are a plus
· Must provide own, hard hat, safety glasses and high vis.
Shift:
