Industrial wastewater treatment systems manufacturer located in Burlington, WI (Town of Lyons) is seeking a system assembly technician to assemble new treatment equipment. Assembly generally includes installation of components inside and outside treatment tanks and skids. This is an immediate job opening.

Position requires travel to fabrication shops in Rockford, IL and/or other locations to perform work on systems that we do not assemble in our Burlington location.

During down time, this position would require the individual to perform general building maintenance, as required, at our Burlington location.

The position requires but is not limited to:

Installation of system components (pumps, gearmotors, bearings, screw augers, chain & sprocket, control panels, plumbing and others) on and inside system tanks and skids.

Plumbing of pumps & miscellaneous components

Installation of control panels onto systems and run conduit/wiring to/from components

Perform QA – QC inspection per company procedures (training provided)

Basic electrical knowledge an advantage but not necessary

Deliver parts to fabricators

Basic blueprint reading

Plumbing knowledge

Drill & tap experience

Record & communicate changes to components during assembly

Must be a team player, always willing to help out and take the initiative to get things done

Ability to work independently and successfully represent the Company

Willing & able to work irregular hours if required

Right candidate will also assist with and eventually perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing)

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

General building repair & maintenance

Ability to drive a forklift (will train)

Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position may require overtime depending on workload.

A salary commensurate with experience and benefit package including 100% employer-paid, $0 deductible health insurance for the employee, two weeks vacation pay, PTO, and holiday pay is available for this highly qualified candidate.
