If you enjoy problem solving and providing innovation solutions come join our team!ResponsibilitiesThe Data and Reporting Professional 2 for the Humana Government Business Provider Network Operations team generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES30% Performing data analytics using Access, Excel, SQL, VBA20% Develop new methodologies to evaluate new programs/initiatives. Provide feedback to management based on your review and findings20% Have a good understanding of Humana data warehouse and recommend new tables/fields to use when necessary. Have a good understanding of our table structure and dependencies20% Document analytical processes, methodologies and use established best practices.10% Monitor metric deficiencies and coordinate development of corrective action plan.Required Qualifications
Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position
Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing)
HGB is not authorized to do work in Puerto Rico per our government contract. We are not able to hire candidates that are currently living in Puerto Rico.
3 years of experience in data reporting and analysis
Proficiency with SQL (such as joining tables, cross functional queries, understanding database tables and advanced SQL statements)
Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports, correspondence and training documents
Experience working in and collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams
Advanced MS Office experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
TRICARE Experience
Experience in a managed care or health care setting
