This is a sales management role focused on leading a team of Account Representatives who help to cultivate customers through phone calls and other communication methods. This role is responsible for the overall success of the inside selling function, implementing, and maintaining inside selling processes and leading the team. This will include coordinating with the Business Development leadership team to establish sales targets for the assigned division or territory, implementing inside selling strategies, and providing guidance to the Account Representatives as they interact with customers.Exciting work you will do:The essential duties and responsibilities of the Business Development Sales Manager position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Execute and manage business development sales strategy for the assigned division or territory to ensure achievement of company sales goals and profitabilityServe as coach and mentor to Account RepresentativesPromote vision by providing customers with solutions to assist in achieving their goalsWork collectively with general managers, sales managers, and location managers to ensure effective communication across Kendall territoriesMaintain limited and strategic account responsibility as neededOversee performance and development of Account RepresentativesUnderstand training and development needs of the team, including staying up-to-date on inside selling best practices, systems, and toolsMaintain current knowledge on new and evolving productsIdentify areas of improvement for sales team and make recommendation to business development leadershipPrepare action plans for team for effective search of sales leads and prospectsMaintain and assess backlog of accounts, ensuring high quality accounts are prioritizedDevelop and maintain Key Performance IndicatorsIdentify and create new sales initiatives and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets or grow current marketsIdentify marketing needs and assist in implementation of marketing plansMaintains accurate records of pricings, sales, and activity reports su
