Description Robert Half is working with a company who is looking for a diligent Accounts Receivable Lead to join the team on a permanent basis in Auburn, Washington. This role is instrumental in supporting the objectives of the accounting department and the company as a whole, through various accounts receivable responsibilities. This role will also require direct training of the Accounts Receivable team and maintaining a high level of internal controls.Responsibilities: Train the Accounts Receivable team on all tasks performed by AR personnel to ensure coverage during absences. Document and provide training on all our customer portals and processes related to customer returns, credits, and collections. Ensure accurate and current customer files, including managing new customer setups. Monitor customer credit applications and maintain accurate credit records. Handle collections on balances past due while maintaining positive customer relationships. Improve the AR department by reviewing and auditing current processes and providing additional in-depth training. Proactively communicate and partner with sales on AR matters. Oversee and manage cash applications, invoicing, and collecting on outstanding balances. Perform credit analysis to balance credit risk with the Company’s strategy. Undertake other projects as assigned, aimed at process improvement and enhancing accounting functions.Salary and Benefits:The base hourly wage for this position is $33-$40/hour, eligible for overtime pay and additional bonus potential.
