Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Employee Relations Manager to join our team in Auburn, Maine. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing employee relations within our organization, with a focus on maintaining a positive work environment.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of employee relations within the organization Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding any employment-related concerns or issues Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve employee issues and concerns Maintain records of all employee interactions and take appropriate actions when necessary Conduct investigations into employee complaints and develop solutions to resolve issues Provide guidance and support to management in handling difficult or complex employee relations issues Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations Develop and conduct training programs on employee relations topics for managers and employees Continuously review and update employee policies to reflect current laws and company goals. Requirements Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in an Employee Relations role or similar HR function. Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in using HR software and databases. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrable leadership and managerial abilities. High ethical standards and professionalism. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proven track record of effectively dealing with conflict and resolving issues. Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures. Excellent negotiation and mediation skills. Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to travel as needed.
