Adecco is currently assisting a local client recruiting for a Floor Operator (2nd Shift) position in Auburn, NY . This Floor Operator opportunity is a temp-to-hire position, with starting pay rate of $18/hr ! For instant consideration for this Floor Operator role, Apply Now!Job Summary:The employee will adhere to all SOPs and policies to ensure that the employees are performing their job safely and that the feed is produced with animal safety and quality in mind.Responsibilities:

Batch raw materials as per the formulation.

Daily calibration verification using test weight on all production scales.

Follows published SOP’s for equipment and processes, will make corrections if required.

Review inventory of raw material components and finished product in accordance with required SOP’s

Ability to perform heavy lifting while dumping 55 lb. bags into a dumping station.

Compiles samples of raw materials and finished product in accordance with SOP’s.

Complete bagging and stacking of powder into 50 lb. bags onto skids

Complete required paperwork and accurately record ingredients measurements.

Records production log sheets, sanitary log sheets as per SOP’S accurately and in a timely manner.

Completes and records pre-operational functions on all equipment before starting each process.

Review department performance daily and offers constructive suggestions on how to improve process efficiency.

Monitors and documents medication consumption according to SOP standards.

Continuously monitors all aspects of production process.

Operates and cleans process equipment according to production schedules.

Complies with relevant safety legislation and plant published safety rules.

Observe flow of materials and be attentive for machine malfunctions, such as jamming/blockage or spillage and identify next steps for corrective action.

Follows Good Manufacturing Process guidelines.

Requirements:

Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are vital

Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently

Attention to detail in all areas of work

Ability to consistently perform heavy lifting
