The starting rate for this position is: $20.00. The rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. Summary Serves as a Medical Assistant in a practice or Urgent Care by primarily assisting providers and acting as a backup for reception. Clinical care provided to patients is within the scope of practice defined for medical assistants and as directed by the provider. Education and Experience

Medical Terminology required.

Life Support certification required

Certification by a nationally recognized organization which includes a competency exam.

(Those organizations include the American Association of Medical Assistants, the National Center for Competency Testing and National Health Career Association.)

Graduation from an accredited 2-year Medical Assistant program preferred.

Basic

Working knowledge of office practice and procedures.

Handle multiple priorities.

Computer skills.

Must have excellent patient relations and interpersonal skills.

Must read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.

Effective use of telephone skills.

  • Summary Serves as Assistant General Manager (AGM) in the ATO; Air Traffic Services; Western Service Area, Seattle District Office, responsible for planning and directing multiple activities and programs in a complex matrix organization in a specific Air Traffic District assigned to the highest facility-level within the Seattle District.
