Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the footwear industry, located in Auburn, Washington. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be deeply involved in various accounting tasks such as account reconciliation, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation. Responsibilities: Managing the integration of NetSuite for effective account management Assisting in figuring out balance sheet accounts Handling debit and credit entries Maintaining a strong basis in accounting principles Utilizing Excel for supporting schedules and other accounting operations Creating and managing regular journal entries Digging into the details of financial data for accurate reporting Using Vlookups and Hlookups in Excel for efficient data management Understanding and managing accruals and reverse accruals Overseeing subledger and cash application processes Pulling sales reports and managing billing operations. Requirements Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant or similar role. Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of accounting software (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP). Advanced knowledge and experience of spreadsheets and financial reports. Understanding of General Ledger and Journal Entries. Excellent skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations. Ability to handle Month End Close procedures. Accuracy and attention to detail are required. Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
