This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. Store associates are also expected to promptly resolve any customer concerns and ensure maximum client satisfaction as well as stay up-to-date with product features and maintain the high quality and visual standards of the products and store. Store associates are tasked with achieving excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals. Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.   • Warehouse Associate- 2nd Shift 3733BR Warehouse Regular Job Description Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure. Load Merchandise into appropriate truck. Drop merchandise for \"reserve\" to \"pick\" slots. Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines. Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery. Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy. Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, \"Preferred Method Standard\". Identify and report slot and put-away problems. Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed. Performs house keeping duties as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. External Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker; ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift, ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time; ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements; and ability to operate a Radio Frequency (RF).
