Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reminding clients to take prescribed medications
- Assisting clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside doctor's appt, walks, grocery shopping, etc.
- Assisting clients with personal care and hygiene
- Planning and preparing meals with clients' assistance (when they are able)
- Performing light housekeeping duties
- Being a pleasant & supportive companion
- Acting quickly & responsibly in case of an emergency
Qualifications:
- True passion for elderly care
- At least 21 years old
- At least one year personal or professional elderly caregiving experience
- Valid drivers license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
- Clean national background and driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Live within 45 miles of Auburn, AL
