Ideal Landscape Foreman candidates will have experience managing a landscape crew, they need a valid driver's license with a clean DMV record. If you do not have hands on experience, we can train you.
The Foreman’s main responsibilities include:
Leading, managing, and working with crews on Landscape Projects
Uphold positive relationships with customers & crew
Make sure job quality is maintained
Training & Safety
Look at labor hours on a job and be attentive to job progress
Manage a job site for maximum efficiency
We are seeking a Foreman with an interest in their career development and growth (through coaching/training) and express professionalism, relationships, integrity, drive and safety.
Candidates for the foreman role should possess the following qualities:
Proficiency in reading landscape estimates, plans and following directions to approved execution strategy
Humility, eager to ask questions and the ability to take direction
High-level of organization and attention to detail
Courteous, client-centric demeanor
Leading and managing people for effective collaboration
Effective communication and problem solving
Understanding that the happiness of our clients (and team members) is our #1 goal
Daily Routine
Start at 7 am
A bit of socializing mixed with discussion of work objectives, analysis of yesterdays mistakes or challenges & training.
Load and review load list before leaving
Arrive at job site and get to work
Around 12pm, lunch
Get back to work
Around 4 (your call), wrap up for the day, return to shop.
Record the days hours and any notable activities for the sake of job tracking
With few exceptions, we do not work weekends. Most crew are getting 40-50 hours, we pay overtime.
