ASRC Federal is seeking a Network Administrator to maintain fast-paced test lab operations Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at the Advanced Research Center (ARC) in Cummings Research Park. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of simulated ground test systems, HWIL, firewalls, and network administration within a modeling and simulation environment. Other duties include troubleshooting, managing routers and switches, and configuration of equipment. This position will report to the Network Team Lead.Requirements :Required Skills :
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (e.g. Security+)
Experience troubleshooting and managing communications network systems
Understanding of Department of Defense security as it pertains to networking
Ability to adapt to change and provide courses of action for problem solving
Ability to approach new challenges creatively
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering related field ( or equivalent experience )
4-8 years of related experience (with Bachelor’s degree) or 8-12 years of related experience (with High School/equivalent)
Preferred Skills :
Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) Environment
Experience in test and/or BMDS
Cisco or other networking certification
