A capable and diligent person must maintain, repair, and service 20 homes in a small mobile home community. The position is every Saturday (Saturdays only), working 8 to 9 hours. The job is ongoing and permanent; subcontractor. Candidates should be skilled and responsible in construction with tools and must have experience as renovators ready to service, fix, renovate, and repair older mobile homes.
This role requires a self-directed, accountable, and competent individual who knows what they are doing, cares about their work, and demonstrates trustworthiness, honesty, and competence with all necessary tools and skills. Some of the tasks include:
- Small metal roof repairs
- Wood deck stairs/small decks/construction repairs
- Light plumbing and electrical service
- Carpentry, paneling, trim, and small fabrications
- Door and window installation, repairs, and maintenance
- Subfloor and flooring repairs
- Vinyl skirting installation
- Drywall finishing expertise
- Painting abilities
- Kitchen cabinet installation and remodeling
- Bathroom remodeling and service
Requirements: Professional experience with a minimum of 5 years. This is an hourly contract position, not a salaried job. Candidates must have reliable transportation and live within 30 minutes of Elberta, Alabama.
