Neuropsychological practice has an immediate opening for a part-time (20-25 hrs./wk.) Office Administrator to join our Wasilla office. We are looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented individual that has strong communications skills, is highly organized, and is a team-player. Compassion and the ability to work attentively with individuals experiencing mental health issues and/or brain injury a must. General computer experience is required and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks, and general database skills are welcome. A good sense of humor is a big plus!
Responsibilities include phone management, receiving and processing referrals, contacting and scheduling patients, and scheduling follow-up consultation appointments (the referral/patient management process can span 6-9 months in some cases), managing patient files, insurance verification, and communicating with health care providers involving sending/receiving patient information. Awareness of HIIPA and Limits of Confidentiality helpful but training will be provided. Applicant is also asked to perform general office duties (e.g., receive/send packages and mailings, ensure office supplies are available/restocked, operate petty cash, oversee cleaning contractor).
Work hours are M-W 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with paid holidays and profit sharing after one year. Please send resumes to the contact for this posing. Cover letters not required but appreciated.
