The project is wholly owned and operated by Coeur Alaska, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Companyand.nbsp;The company is recruiting an Entry-Level Mobile Mechanic for its Kensington Gold Mine. Candidates must satisfactorily complete the pre-employment process, and graduate from the MAPTS Mine Maintenance training camp near Delta Junction, Alaska, before employmentand.nbsp;Maintenance.and.nbsp;Mechanic Responsibilities:Maintain and repair surface and /or underground mobile mining equipment such as drills, bolters, loaders,haul trucks, and heavy and light-duty support equipment.Intermediate welding and fabrication.Diesel and gas engine trouble-shooting and repair skills.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of mobile mining equipment.Responsible for pre-shift inspection of work areas and equipment.Employees must comply with all company policies including, but not limited to: attendance, safety, environmental, and HR policies. Employees are responsible for understanding and complying with the Environment, Health, Safety and Social Responsibility Policies. Employees must protect the environment and their own safety, as well as those around them.MAPTS Training Facility:Located 30 miles East of Delta Junction, AlaskaTraining course is 280 hours broken into two 14-day segments of 10-hour days over a six week period.Training consists of Introduction to Underground Mining, Introduction to Surface Operations, Basic Operation of Heavy Equipment and Support Equipment, Hands-on training in Preventative Equipment Maintenance, Lubricant Specs, Basic Diagnostics, Operating a Fuel/Lube Truck, and Recordkeeping Procedures. Room and board is included
