Sales Manager wanted for The Salmon Shoppe in downtown Juneau
Management applicants must be available April 15th through October 2nd, 2019. Management applicants must have sales experience, those with tourism experience will be preferred although the primary focus of work and relevant experience is in sales. Applicants should enjoy sales and be highly motivated to perform by closing sales in a team oriented environment during our short summer season.
General Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General Management of overall retail operations
Recruit, hire, schedule, and train part-time summer seasonal sales staff
Set and achieve individual and store goals
Manage inventory through point of sale software
Manage and provide innovative merchandising of product
Qualified Manager Candidates Must Have at Minimum:
Strong Sales Skills and some proven Sales Experience
Some Management Experience is preferred but not required
Competent use of Social Media
Ability to work independently, entrepreneurial characteristics
Depending On Experience Compensation structure includes: Base Wage, Commission on Sales, and Seasonal Sales Bonuses
