Whitestone REIT is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in our Arizona Scottsdale market. The qualified candidate will have a great work ethic, with the capability to work under minimal supervision and consistently all projects. Qualified candidates must have a personal vehicle for reliable transportation. Responsibilities: Make light repairs and adjustments on plumbing systems as needed;Repair interior and exterior finishes and drywall of properties;Repair electrical issues within properties;Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of properties;Repair water pumps and fountains;Manage time wisely and productively while working independently;Able to complete tasks from start to finish. Qualifications: High school graduate or G.E.D. required;Valid driver’s license required;HVAC certification strongly preferred;Minimum of two years general maintenance experience in commercial retail environment required;Minimum of two years of general plumbing and electrical experience required;Ability to do physical requirements such as stooping, climbing, and ability to lift 40 lbs. or more;Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and complete reports, training will be provided; andAbility to work in and around Scottsdale and Phoenix, AZ.
