About the Job
Role purpose (position scope):
The individual in this role has responsibility for specific process centers and related operations. They
will manage workflow to ensure product meets quality criteria, performs as specified and is completed
on the schedule.
The supervisor will supervise a staff of people and will have responsibility to make sure they are trained, performing up to the company's standards, and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee 25 employees including Bench Technicians and Assemblers
To ensure a safe workplace and the practice of safe behaviors will be the supervisor's number
one responsibility.
The supervisor will spend 50% of their time on continuous improvement related activities.
Attainment and sustainment of 100% ontime delivered quality products.
Responsible for aligning capacity against SIOP Plan.
Administration of employee performance management systems and processes, including, but
not limited to EPDRs, disciplinary, counseling, communication, and performance improvement
plans.
Set and monitor goals for all direct reports.
Participation in the interview and selection of new hires.
Responsible for the daytoday planning of departmental operations, authorizing overtime and
cost control.
Work with production schedulers/materials planners to develop and execute recovery dates
when products are in arrears.
Work with various departments i.e. Quality, Engineering, Shipping, Engineering Services, etc. to
resolve production issues.
Assist in implementation, and support of all ISO 9000 elements pertaining to manufacturing
functions, as well as elements outside of the manufacturing environment.
Comply and uphold SHE policies and standards.

Manufacturing Leads, Manufacturing Operators
Education and Experience:
2 years college degree; 4 year degree preferred
Related background 3 5 years' experience in electronics manufacturing environment
Continuous Improvement experience
Prior supervisory experience 1 to 2 years preferred
Must have or be willing to pursue Six Sigma Green Belt within 2 years of appointment
