Patient Financial Services Representative

Description We are seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. This role involves managing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries in the healthcare industry. This is a short-term contract position that provides an opportunity to utilize your skills in various software and technologies.Responsibilities: Handle patient financial services, including processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Utilize software tools like Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, CRM, Crystal Reports, and Dentrix Dental Software to facilitate tasks. Answer inbound calls in a professional manner, providing exceptional customer service. Perform authorizations and various billing functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating information as necessary. Manage benefit functions and keep track of charts and graphs. Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when necessary. Resolve customer inquiries promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the team to improve the financial operations and services provided to patients. Follow industry standards and regulations in all operations. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Patient Financial Services Representative or in a similar role Proficiency in Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, CRM, Crystal Reports, Dentrix Dental Software Experience in answering inbound calls Thorough understanding of authorizations, benefit functions, and billing functions Ability to create and analyze charts and graphs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure Familiarity with medical terminology and health insurance policies Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
