Apply for JobWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our client’s high-volume production-based clinical laboratory team. In this role, you will perform vital tasks related to the processing, analysis, and management of clinical lab specimens, ensuring that our lab operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.Location: Agoura Hills, CAPay Rate: $18/hrSchedule: M-F, 3pm-11:30pmResponsibilities:
Assist in specimen testing under direct supervision according to established procedures.
Record dates of receipt, use, and expiration for all reagents, kits, controls, and standards used in assigned assays.
Pipette samples using calibrated and approved automatic devices or fixed volume dispensers.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and document maintenance appropriately.
Develop an understanding of laboratory medicine and the clinical significance of laboratory results.
Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety requirements of Esoterix, CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology, from an accredited institution (including at least 12 semester hours of chemistry).
Previous experience in a medical or lab environment is preferred.
Comfortable handling biological specimens with care and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
