Description We are in search of an Office Assistant in Alameda, California. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a team, where the primary function revolves around administrative tasks, customer service, and office management. Situated in a dynamic work environment, this position provides a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Efficiently manage incoming telephone calls and route them to the appropriate recipients. Process deliveries from services such as FedEx and UPS and distribute mail within the office. Use Microsoft Suite software, particularly Word and Excel, to manage and organize office data. Ensure office security by controlling access via the reception desk and respond to visitor inquiries. Display flexibility in daily tasks and responsibilities within a team of three. Maintain open communication with remote team members and provide necessary support. Coordinate with team members to manage customer credit applications and keep accurate records. Actively monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status. Show adaptability and quick learning in the use of office systems such as voicemail through email routing. Handle email campaigns and deliver mail as part of customer communication and service. If you are interested in this role please call me immediately at (510) 470-7450 Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as an Office Assistant Proficient in handling and delivering mail within an organizational setting Ability to manage and execute email campaigns effectively Experience in handling FedEx services for the organization Proficient in operating switchboard phones with 1-10 lines Proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365 for daily office tasks Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent education level detail oriented demeanor and strong customer service skills.
