Description We are looking to bring an Accounts Receivable Specialist onboard at our location in Anaheim, California. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and requires a keen understanding of the accounts receivable functions including billing, collections, and cash applications. The chosen candidate will be integral in managing financial transactions and maintaining our company's financial integrity.Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures through the processing of accounts and incoming payments. Generate financial statements and reports that outline the accounts receivable status. Facilitate swift payment of invoices by sending bill reminders and contacting clients with outstanding accounts. Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits with precision and timeliness. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for correctly. Perform financial transactions daily, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data. Resolve clients' billing issues by verifying discrepancies and providing effective solutions. Collaborate with other finance team members and departments to achieve overall finance department objectives. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Utilize various Accounting Software Systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and QuickBooks to manage accounts receivable functions efficiently. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and QuickBooks Enterprise Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Billing Functions and Cash Activity Ability to handle Cash Handling tasks Experience with High-Volume Invoicing and Invoice Coding Proficiency in QuickBooks Experience in Collections Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Relevant detail oriented certification (such as CPA) is a plus.
