Manage/coordinate flavor applications and associated technical support of diverse project initiatives across the beverage category and can directly support customers with finished product designs from concept to consumer.
Knowledge in product formulation; build on beverage application bases and new beverage concepts to showcase dsm-firmenich flavors, ingredients, technologies, and innovations
Actively participate on technical selling team to develop strategic relationships and customer intimacy through ways like leading working sessions and technical to technical customer interactions.
Project management: Manage briefs and champion required actions to meet project objectives, participate in work sessions with clients and deliver presentations in a technical capacity to clients as needed
Leverage technical knowledge in terms of flavors, ingredients, formulations and processes relating to beverages, while establishing and maintaining a network of working relationships within the technical community
Maintain knowledge of beverage client’s strategies, brands and products

You bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or in a related field preferred.
3 + years of experience in Beverage product development and some Project Management skills.
Some understanding of Thermal processing (pasteurization, HTST, UHT, and retort) and carbonation.
Knowledge of G.M.P’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) and H.A.C.C.P (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
Great verbal and written communication skills. Good presentation skills including ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audience.
Must have computer skills, i.e. MS Office, Outlook, Excel, SAP, and Nutritional labeling software.
