They diagnose equipment repair issues accurately and provide an itemized list of necessary parts and repairs for review and authorization. They obtain price quotes through the Parts Department if requested.The assistant communicates standard repair times (SRT) and carries out authorized repairs in a consistent, professional, and timely manner. They examine vehicles for further work and stay up-to-date on the latest technical information. They manage repair strategy and downtime to return equipment to service as soon as possible.The assistant communicates their findings and takes responsibility for their time investment on the job. They perform all repairs within established SRTs.The essential functions of this role include:
