Description We are looking for a Staffing Coordinator to join our healthcare team based in Bakersfield, California. Your primary role will be to manage daily staffing across two hospital sites, resolve staffing shortages, and maintain accurate records. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage daily staffing requirements for two hospital sites Identify and resolve staffing shortages, creating effective solutions to problems as they arise Provide recommendations and refer complex problems to upper management when necessary Handle intake of daily sick calls and schedule updates, ensuring smooth operations Assist with departmental schedule changes to accommodate staff availability and hospital needs Perform daily data entry tasks and maintain up-to-date records Coordinate and execute daily reports using G-Mail, Excel, and Word applications Utilize your strategic problem-solving skills to address staffing issues Implement good organizational practices to ensure dependability and punctuality in staff scheduling Use corporate recruiting and human resources administration skills for efficient staffing.Requirements Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare or NHS setting Proficiency in corporate recruiting is necessary for this role Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration is required Possess a valid nursing license or similar certification in healthcare Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of medical terminologies and healthcare procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills Proficient in using healthcare databases and software Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines Must be flexible with work schedules and willing to work in shifts Proven record of reliability and responsibility Excellent leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team.
